WAOTY
The 2026 WA Day Festival regional tour has wrapped up after an incredible month of celebrations, with thousands of people coming together to celebrate the people, places and stories that make Western Australia extraordinary.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us across the State. Now, we’re looking ahead to the Carnarvon WA Day Festival this October, before finishing the year with the Metro WA Day Festival this November.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you again soon.
Gwoonwardu Mia presents the WA Day Festival in Carnarvon.
Join us on Friday October 9 from 3pm-7pm as we celebrate Western Australia’s vibrant culture, history and community spirit.
The grounds of Gwoonwardu Mia will come alive with a dynamic program of live performances, interactive activities and experiences that reflect the diverse stories and people that shape our State. From local talent on stage to hands-on fun for the whole family, there’ll be something to spark everyone’s interest.
