The inaugural WA Day Community Chorus, presented by Joondalup Symphony Orchestra Chorus, will bring singers from across the community together for a major live performance at WA Day Festival 2026.
Over three months, you’ll learn the music, meet new people and build towards performing live at WA Day Festival alongside professional musicians.
No auditions. No professional experience required.
Just a love of singing and a willingness to have a go.
The WA Day Community Chorus is open to singers aged 12+ of all experience levels.
You don’t need to read music. You don’t need perfect pitch. Whether you’ve sung in choirs for years, sing in the shower or simply love music, you’re welcome.
Rehearsals are designed to be supportive, social and fun, with experienced singers alongside people performing for the very first time.
