OrchXtra is Western Australia’s own sonic spectacular — a groundbreaking fusion of DJ, Perth Symphony Orchestra, surprise instruments and superstar voices. Entirely WA-produced, the show reimagines iconic local, national and international songs with a West Aussie heartbeat; blending electronic beats, soaring strings and dynamic live performance.
Fronted by WA greats Steve Hensby and Mia Matthiessen, with special guest stars Lucy Durack (Helpmann Award-winning musical theatre icon and 2025 West Australian of the year award winner) and Justin Burford (ARIA Award-winning End of Fashion frontman)

Justin Burford
Justin Burford one of Australia’s most compelling and versatile performers. Over two decades he’s distinguished himself not only as the creative force behind ARIA-winning band End Of Fashion (2005’s he earned Breakthrough Artist and Best Video) but also as a magnetic theatrical talent. His Australian debut in Rock of Ages earned a Helpmann nomination for Best Male Actor in a Musical. He’s performed with ensembles like the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Adelaide Cabaret Festival, and more. In 2019, the Museum of Western Australia honoured him by placing his guitar in a permanent exhibit celebrating WA artists.
