Celebrate WA Inc.
Celebrate WA is a leadership organisation that has applauded and recognised outstanding Western Australians for 39 years. A voluntary Board manage the Celebrate WA program and they bring with them a range of skills and who, share a deep pride in all things Western Australian – and a strong commitment and enthusiasm for the future of Celebrate WA.
Over the past few months Celebrate WA, has undergone a major review of the programs delivered to the community. In response to feedback from our stakeholders, partners and the community, we are changing focus and direction.
Our first major initiative will be to encourage the renaming of Foundation Day to Western Australia or WA Day, commencing on the 1st of June 2012. Celebrate WA has coordinated WA Week for many years and we want to use this newly named holiday as a focal point for state-wide participation in activities and events, showcasing all that Western Australia has to offer.
