Celebrate community, culture and creativity at Geraldton’s FREE WA Day Festival – a vibrant day of live entertainment, cultural experiences and family fun on the beautiful Batavia Coast.
Hosted by the Museum of Geraldton, this much-loved community celebration brings together music, storytelling, creativity and hands-on activities that showcase the people and cultures that make Geraldton unique.

🎶 Enjoy an electrifying live music program featuring emerging local artists and Geraldton favourites Karloo Rockers, bringing their unique blend of rock, reggae and country to the stage.
🌏 Experience interactive cultural performances and Living Histories experiences, including a traditional Chinese tea ceremony celebrating culture, storytelling and connection.
🖤 Get creative with respected Yamaji artist Carol Martin and contribute to a collaborative community artwork reflecting shared identity and community spirit.
🏹 Get active with the Woorree Scout Group’s popular hoverball archery and ropes course, offering exciting challenges and fun for all ages.
🐾 Meet native wildlife up close with hands-on animal encounters from WA Wildlife Displays, featuring species found throughout the Mid West region.
🎨 Families can enjoy a wide range of interactive activities including face painting, sensory play, balance challenges and creative hands-on experiences throughout the festival precinct.
🎣 Inclusive community experiences including Fishability, giving visitors the opportunity to connect, participate and enjoy accessible outdoor activities.
