Museum of the Goldfields presents the WA Day Festival in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
Join us on Monday 1 June from 10am–2pm at Centennial Park for a high-energy celebration of culture, community and creativity.
Experience an incredible line-up of live entertainment, including Aboriginal artists sharing storytelling and art, plus vibrant performances from African, Māori, Filipino, Peruvian, Indian and Goldfields Pride community groups. Expect music, dance, colour and culture on stage throughout the day.
There’s plenty for families and young people too — from face painting and a petting zoo to bubble fun, climbing ropes and an obstacle course. Explore interactive zones including a sensory play space, Construction City, a prospecting pit, Youth Chill Zone and gaming zone. Don’t miss the live rescue demonstrations from CME Mine Rescue.
Get hands-on with weaving workshops, Aboriginal art design, Māori dance and African drumming, and add your voice to a collaborative community art installation celebrating what makes the Goldfields special.
Bring your family, bring your friends and celebrate WA Day in true Goldfields style.
Proudly supported by BHP, the State Government and Lotterywest.
Free entry. We’ll see you at Centennial Park!
