The 2026 WA Day Festival regional tour has wrapped up after an incredible month of celebrations, with thousands of people coming together to celebrate the people, places and stories that make Western Australia extraordinary.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us across the State. Now, we’re looking ahead to the Carnarvon and Fremantle WA Day Festivals this October, before finishing the year with the Metro WA Day Festival this November.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you again soon.
Innovation Alley is back, showcasing some of Western Australia’s biggest and brightest innovators. Explore interactive exhibits, hands-on activations and big ideas from Hancock Iron Ore, The Perth Mint, Synergy, Alcoa and the WA Museum, celebrating the ingenuity, technology and innovation shaping our State’s future.

Enjoy a vibrant line-up of cultural performances on the Lotterywest Stage, showcasing communities from across our State, alongside opportunities to experience and connect with the world’s oldest living culture through Aboriginal storytelling, art and cultural experiences.

Come hungry! Eat Street is serving up a world of flavour, with some of Western Australia’s best food trucks dishing up everything from international eats and street food favourites to sweet treats and festival classics.
There’ll be something to satisfy every craving - so grab a bite, try something new and taste your way around the world without leaving Burswood Park.
The carnival rides are back - and they’re completely FREE!
With rides popping up across the park, families can enjoy all the carnival fun without spending a cent. From family favourites to plenty of thrills, there’ll be something for everyone.

Get ready to play! The Sporting Precinct returns with familiar favourites including the Western Force, Perth Glory and West Coast Eagles, alongside exciting new additions from across Western Australia’s sporting scene.
Hardwired BMX is back with more high-energy shows, plus put your skills to the test with WAIS, take on inflatable dodgeball, try your hand at axe throwing, get moving with Gymnastics WA and plenty more.

The Great Mascot Race is back - and it’s bigger and better than ever!
Expect plenty of familiar favourites, a few new faces and lots of mascot mayhem as some of Western Australia’s best-loved characters battle it out for mascot glory.
Meet your favourite heroes, grab a photo before and after the race, then cheer them on from the sidelines. Who will take the crown this year?
Get ready for an incredible weekend of live music, with some of Western Australia’s most iconic talent set to take the stage at the WA Day Festival.
And this year, there’s even more to discover. A brand-new Discovery Stage will shine a spotlight on some of Western Australia’s most exciting emerging and up-and-coming artists.
