Perth, June 2025 – Ahead of the WA Day public holiday on Monday 2 June, Celebrate WA joined forces with the West Coast Eagles to bring a unique celebration to Optus Stadium. With more than 42,000 fans in attendance, the event shone a spotlight on everything we love about our state.
The highlight of the day was the unforgettable mascot race – featuring 15 mascots representing 14 iconic WA brands – which captured the crowd’s imagination and brought plenty of laughs and excitement.
This special showcase was made possible thanks to the support of our partners: West Coast Eagles, Perth Wildcats, Western Force, Perth Scorchers, Perth Glory, Rottnest Express, Lions Eye Institute, Heart Foundation, Epilepsy WA, Hungry Jack’s, RAC Arena, Telethon7 Perth, and Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest.
WA Day 2025 is only just getting started, with plenty more celebrations still to come across the state.
