WA Day is an occasion for all Western Australians to reflect and celebrate all the great things about our state – our people, lifestyle, culture and potential.
On WA Day 2016, we presented seven FREE WA Day Festival events, that saw the state come alive with music, art, food and activities for the whole family. Events were held at Elizabeth Quay (Perth), Fremantle, Mandurah, Albany, Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Geraldton and Port Hedland.
SOTA (State of the Art Music Festival) was a massive part of the celebrations at Elizabeth Quay and for the first time was a FREE event. Two massive stages showcased the very best of WA music, including headliners Jebediah, San Cisco, Ta-Ku and Koi Child – winner of 4 awards at the 2017 WAM Awards.
We can’t wait to share more about the 2017 events as we get closer to the next WA Day on Monday 5 June, 2017. But in the meantime, enjoy our photo gallery showcasing the highlights of the 2016 WA Day Festival.
