There will be festival events held in Elizabeth Quay (Perth), Fremantle, Mandurah, Bunbury, Albany, Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Geraldton, Port Hedland and Newman.

When is the State of the Art (SOTA) Music Festival being held this year?

SOTA will be held on Monday 5 June, 2017 at Elizabeth Quay.

SOTA Music Festival is FREE! All you need to do is show up on the day to see a range of great West Australian artists.

What if it’s cold and raining?

While we hope it will be a beautiful day, it’s best to cover all bases – bring sunnies, a hat, sunscreen, rain ponchos and warm clothes for later.

How can I apply for media accreditation?

You can apply for media accreditation by contacting the Celebrate WA team at celebratewa@celebratewa.com.au.

How can I guarantee a spot to see my favourite artist?

Entry into the stage areas will be subject to capacity. We suggest if there’s an act you really want to see, don’t leave it till the last minute to get there.

What can I eat and drink?

A range of food and drink options will be available to all festival goers. We have the International Eat Street and Urban Providore . We also have a licensed area, where you can enjoy a beverage and watch your favourite band at the same time!

What to bring?

Valid ID, cash, comfy shoes, food permitted but no eskies, sealed water bottles and warm clothes.

What to leave at home?

Alcohol and illicit substances, unsealed drink containers, anything that could be used as a weapon, glass bottles, chairs, crates, animals (guide and service dogs are permitted), professional cameras (with detachable lenses), video and tape recorders. Small digital cameras/mobile phones are ok.

What parking is available?

What sort of ACROD access does Elizabeth Quay have?

Elizabeth Quay is a wheelchair friendly designed site. Permanent ACROD toilets are located near V Burger (off Geoffrey Bolton Avenue near the William Street entry gate) and temporary ACROD toilets will be installed within the SOTA site. Please note there are no designated ACROD viewing platforms or areas available within the SOTA site.
